Swimming
Swimming
Swimming is a form of exercise, recreation and transportation that predates history. Essentially, the human body has a similar density to water, and when the lungs are filled with air it makes the body slightly less dense than water, making it easy to stay afloat. The main thing to accomplish is keeping your torso and your legs as parallel to the surface of the water as possible. If either of these drops, you will drag and make your swimming considerably more difficult. Aside from this, the forward motion is accomplished by being face down and kicking in the water while making a swooping motion with the arms around the back then forward and into the water, one at a time.

Swimming With Dolphins
Swimming with dolphins is a wonderful vacation idea for you or for the whole family. There are several destinations that offer the experience of swimming with dolphins. They are often research and conservation centers promoting knowledge of mammal marine life. Some also participate in what is known as dolphin therapy, focusing on the physical and mental well-being of individuals, believing that being with dolphins has soothing and uplifting effects. Some places keep the dolphins in captivity and you swim with them in a pool, while others are based where the dolphins naturally live and you swim with them in their natural habitat. The places that offer the chance to swim with dolphins are usually in resort areas such as Florida, Cancun, Hawaii, the Caribbean, and southern California. The price for these vacations can vary greatly depending on whether you’re staying at a resort affiliated with the dolphin base and on a week long trip or if you live nearby and just want to pop into the water for an hour.
Swim Party
Having a swim party is a great way to get friends together during the warm months of summer. Naturally, the easiest way to put on a swim party is if you have a pool. You will also need to determine who the guest list will consist of. If the party is for a child, pizza is a good food to serve, but if it’s for adults, cocktails and appetizers will be a satisfying menu. Most likely, if you have a pool, it is an outdoor pool, so sunny weather is essential for a successful swim party. If you don’t have a pool but want to put on a swim party, there are still options available to you. Many city parks or recreation centers have pools that you can rent out for the day. Keep in mind that the availability of these days can be booked quite quickly, especially weekends. Not all places are willing to rent out their pools either, preferring to keep them available to the public, so make sure you check first, and do so with plenty of advance time. Also keep in mind that these places will generally not allow alcoholic beverages.
