Swim Clubs And Teams
Swimming clubs and teams are excellent ways to explore your passion for swimming in a social environment. You can find them for all different age groups, and performing at different levels. They are usually competitive in nature, challenging other teams at meets. The teams are all classified at different levels, so a highly professional team will not meet against an amateur team. Swim teams are located all over the country. USA Swimming is an excellent resource to locate a local swim club or team near you. There are swim clubs for children, which would be an excellent way of providing your child with exercise and regular activity, and there are clubs for seniors. These are again excellent ways of keeping seniors active and fit.

Girls Swim Team
Similar to other swim teams, girls’ and women’s swim teams run the gambit of recreational to professional. Swim teams for young girls are excellent ways to keep them active and fit as well as learning a healthy sense of competition and discovering self-esteem. These swim teams can lead to high school swim teams as well, which of course can lead to college scholarships. Women’s swim teams can, again, be school oriented, as with college swim teams, professional or purely recreational. Girls’ and women’s swim teams are excellent ways to socialize with other girls and women. The meets are only parts of the reasons to join a swimming team. As with all sports, one of the most appealing aspects is the camaraderie one experiences with a team. It can be a great way to meet new people, whether you have lots of friends or few. It is also a great way for senior women to not only stay healthy but to make new friends at a time in life when it can be difficult to do so.
College Swim Teams
College swim teams are similar to any other college sport in many ways. Unlike many recreational swim teams, you do need to try out and will most likely have a background in swimming, probably from a high school swim team. Scholarships do exist for swimmers, often giving these athletes a chance at college educations. Also similar to other college sports, the possibility of a college swimmer going professional is a dream for many. College swimmers must stay in peak physical condition during the season. There are different divisions, with many colleges ranking highly, but Wheaton, Ashland and Auburn are three of the top college swim teams.
